My Prediction of 2006 F1 driver lineups:
Ferrari>>> This yr's underperforming car really showed us who's good and who's not... Michael certainly still has the calibre to perform at the highest level, while Rubens looked good in the past bcos the car was good... My lineup for Ferrari in 2006: Michael Schumacher, Felipe Massa
Williams-Cosworth>>> Lacklustre this season, BMW have deserted the Williams team next yr, with the Grove outfit using Cosworth engines in 2006... BMW sponsored Nick Heidfeld is likely to leave the team too... My lineup for Williams-Cosworth in 2006: Mark Webber, Jenson Button
McLaren-Mercedes>>> Superb car with superb drivers, undoubtly the team to beat this yr, i expect this team to build on their success with the current crop of drivers... My lineup for McLaren-Mercedes in 2006: Kimi Raikkonen, Juan Pablo Montoya...
Renault>>> Another team tats done extremely well this yr, Alonso having one hand planted on the World Championship already... Although Fisichella had alot of bad luck this yr, and shld be granted one more chance to shine, but i would love to see the fastest-man-over-1-lap back with this team... My lineup for Renault in 2006: Fernando Alonso, Jarno Trulli
BAR-Honda>>> Lost valuable championship points after a couple of suspensions, the Brackley outfit will definitely make a comeback next yr, albeit without Jenson Button, though i think Sato has justified his presence in the team, he juz needs abit more luck than the past few seasons, My lineup for BAR-Honda in 2006: Takuma Sato, Christjian Albers
Sauber-BMW>>> Recently purchased by German giants BMW, i expect both drivers on their way out, especially Ferrari-supported Massa... Nick Heidfeld might follow BMW into this team, with the addition of one exciting young talent... My lineup for Sauber-BMW in 2006: Nick Heidfeld, Nico Rosberg
Red Bull-Ferrari>>> Extremely impressive performance by this team in their first season of F1, having Ferrari engines next yr shld boost their performances even more, i believe they alady have the talent in their team... My lineup for Red-Bull Ferrari in 2006: David Coulthard, Christian Klien
Toyota>>> A very much up-and-coming team, shld consider having drivers that could lead this team to greater heights next yr... My lineup for Toyota in 2006: Giancarlo Fisichella, Tiago Monteiro...
Jordan-Toyota>>> A struggling team, may need to look out of F1 to find drivers willing to accept the challenge of fighting the car for 70 laps week in week out, though potentially out-of-job drivers like Jacque Villeneuve, Ralf Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello may fancy themselves here... My lineup for Jordan-Toyota in 2006: Rubens Barrichello plus one unknown
Minardi-Cosworth>>> Always the team to join for promising drivers to shoecase their skills in F1, many brilliant drivers have "graduated" from Minardi, including a certain Fernando Alonso, i'll expect them to field 2 new talents next yr...
